Dogo shopping street called as “Haikara-Dori” is on the way to Dogo Onsen main building.
A lot of cats are here as well as other Dogo area.

You get off Dogo Onsen Station and enter Dogo shopping street.
Then you may see this cat in front of the shop on your left soon.

This cat is not always here.
He greets visitors with this favorite bed when he feels like it.

Unfortunately He is on a holiday today.
To tell the truth, I have never seen him awake.

It seems to me that this cat is saying as,
“Since you come to Dogo Onsen, please leave it at ease like me.”
