Little shrines where spirits live II

There are many little shrines in the vicinity of Dogo Onsen.

The shrine in this photo is one corner of a residential area on the west side of Dogo Park, inside a parking of a private house.
Flower pots are also provided and you can see that it is being deceived carefully.

The shrine I introduced in “Little shrines where spirits live” was a stone but this is a roof tile.
It is very similar to the shrine that appears in “Spirited Away of Spirited Away”.

These little shrines are called “Ojino-san” in this area in general.
Initially I thought it is an accent of “Ojizo-san”, the common name of Jizo Bodhisattva of Buddhism but it is not.
“Ojinushi-san” meaning “the god of the land” change to “Ojino-san” as accent.

This god will probably go to Dogo Onsen every day.

(Because it is in private property, please make sure not to bother the residents when visiting.)
