There are lots of foot spas and hands spas at Dogo Onsen.

When you get off at the Dogo Onsen Station, you will first find a foot spa in “Houjoh-en”.

The “Houjoh-en” was originally a pond.
When the Isaniwa shrine was moved to the present place, people at the time saved the water of the river which was in the precincts and made it a pond.
That is the beginning of “Houjoh-en”.
After that, it was landfilled as a garden, and it reaches now.

The outlet of hot spring called as “Yugama” was actually used in the main building of Dogo Onsen from 1891 to 1954.

Many people enjoy hot spring with their feet today as well.
